Pet-Friendly Hotels at Geneva Airport

Nine of the ten hotels at Geneva Airport (GVA, Genève Aéroport) accept pets in some form, but only five publish a fee and only three publish a weight limit. This guide lists what each official site says, flags where the only figures come from booking platforms, and suggests which hotel suits a large dog, a short stay or a long one. Hotels with a published pet fee

Five hotels state a fee on their official sites:

Holiday Inn Express Geneva Airport: dogs, CHF 20 a night. Booking platforms have shown CHF 30 and a one-dog limit; the official figure is CHF 20, so confirm at booking.
NH Geneva Airport: dogs and cats up to 25 kg, CHF 25 a night per pet, maximum two.
Crowne Plaza Geneva: dogs and cats, small ones only, up to two per room, CHF 30 a night.
Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre: pets up to 40 kg, CHF 50 non-refundable per stay.
Geneva Marriott Hotel: up to two pets of 10 kg or less, CHF 50 per stay.

Pets welcome, fee not published

Four hotels say pets are welcome but do not publish a price on their official pages: Mövenpick Hotel Geneva, ibis Genève Aéroport, ibis Styles Genève Palexpo Aéroport and Mercure Geneva Airport. Booking platforms have quoted CHF 20 to 25 per pet at these four, charged per night or per stay depending on the hotel, but those figures are not official; ask the hotel for the current fee and any size limit before you book. The two ibis hotels and the Mövenpick are within about a 10-minute walk of the terminal, so a dog can be walked to the airport rather than carried on a shuttle.

No published policy

Nash Airport Hotel is the one hotel in this guide with no pet information on its official site. Booking platforms list it as not accepting pets. Unless the hotel confirms otherwise, choose one of the other nine hotels.

Choosing by dog size and length of stay

The Hilton’s 40 kg limit is the highest published, and its CHF 50 charge covers the stay rather than each night. NH takes up to 25 kg. The Marriott’s 10 kg limit rules out most dogs above a small breed.

For one night, the cheapest published fees are Holiday Inn Express (CHF 20), NH (CHF 25) and Crowne Plaza (CHF 30), all charged nightly. From the third night, the two per-stay fees at Hilton and Marriott (CHF 50) become cheaper than the nightly ones. Holiday Inn Express and NH both depend on a shuttle to reach the terminal (Holiday Inn Express from 6:00 am; NH does not publish its hours), and none of the hotels states whether pets may ride the shuttle, so ask. Crowne Plaza, about 600 m from the terminal by third-party measurement, is the closest of the hotels with a published fee, and the Hilton is directly across the road from Palexpo.
