Geneva Airport Showers and Lounges

Geneva Airport (GVA, Genève Aéroport) has several airside lounges but no confirmed lounge showers, and two public showers that anyone can use for CHF 15. This guide gives the locations, hours and access rules, arranged by where you are in the terminal.

Public showers: CHF 15, before security

The airport runs two shower facilities, neither of them in a departure lounge. Both cost CHF 15 including shower gel, shampoo and a towel, paid by buying a token.

  • Baggage reclaim area, near carousel 6. For arriving passengers before customs. Tokens from the Swissport welcome desk near carousels 2 and 3, cash only, daily from 7:30 am until the last flight.
  • Public area, near the Post Office. For anyone in the landside terminal. Tokens from the information desk, cash or card, 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

An arriving passenger with a long wait before a hotel check-in can therefore shower before leaving the building; a departing passenger should shower before going through security, since nothing airside is confirmed.

Lounges on the mezzanine (Schengen side)

The mezzanine above the main concourse holds most of the lounges:

  • Swissport Horizon Lounge, 6:00 am to 8:30 pm. Accepts Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass. Showers are not listed among its facilities.
  • marhaba Lounge (dnata, formerly Dnata Skyview), on the mezzanine. Priority Pass accepted. Third-party listings give 6:30 am to 8:30 pm; the airport’s own page does not state hours. Showers not mentioned.
  • SWISS Business, Senator and First lounges, 5:30 am to 8:30 pm daily. SWISS confirms that none of the three has showers.

British Airways and Air France also operate lounges at Geneva, listed on gva.ch; their hours and access follow the airlines’ own rules.

Lounges in the East Wing (non-Schengen)

The East Wing (Aile Est, Pier C) opened in December 2021 for long-haul and non-Schengen flights, and has two lounges:

  • marhaba Lounge East Wing, at the C gates, open only to passengers departing from a C gate. Third-party hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Aspire Crystal Lounge, Priority Pass and DragonPass. Sources disagree on closing time (6:00 pm on one listing, 8:30 pm on another, both third-party); it opens at 7:00 am.

The official lounge index page on gva.ch was not reachable as of September 2026, so hours for the marhaba and Aspire lounges come from lounge-booking sites and should be confirmed on the day.

VIP Pack and paid access

Genève Aéroport sells a VIP Pack through gva.ch that combines a Priority Lane through security with lounge access. For European flights the lounge is the Horizon or the marhaba on the mezzanine; for intercontinental flights it is the Aspire Crystal or the marhaba East Wing. The pack is not available for flights from the French sector in Pier F.

Walk-in entry to the Horizon, marhaba and Aspire lounges can be bought at the door or online through lounge-booking platforms. The airport publishes no price list and platform prices change; a figure of around USD 67 for the Aspire Crystal appeared on one site in mid-2026.

Timing: what is open when

No lounge opens before 5:30 am or stays open after 8:30 pm. The terminal closes overnight: no scheduled departures between midnight and 6:00 am, the last arrivals land up to about 12:30 am and the building then closes until about 4:00 am. There are no sleep pods or rest zones. For an early flight, the airport hotels are the only place to shower and sleep the night before: the six walk-to hotels are 7 to 12 minutes from the terminal, and the Nash Airport Hotel opens its gym and sauna from 6:30 am. For a pool or spa, the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre has an indoor pool and the Mercure Geneva Airport, a 7-minute drive, has a gym with sauna and hammam at CHF 15 a day.
